Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender will be getting a full season DVD set of Book 2, much like Book 1 did. It will be a 5-disc set and contain all 20 episodes from Book 2. The fifth disc will be a bonus disc and will detail Aang's conquest to master the four elements. It is expected to be released on 9/11/07.

In other news, AvatarSpirit.net recently posted the first of a three-part interview they conducted with Avatar's Emmy-award winning Voice Directory, Andrea Romano.
"The creators of Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender animated fantasy series told SCI FI Wire that the third set of episodes will end with an epic battle that will please the fans." Read the rest of the article on SciFi.com...
Also, Avatar Creators Praise Night. "The
creators of Nickelodeon's animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender told SCI
FI Wire that they are thrilled that The Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan
will adapt their series into a live-action feature film.
"We are thrilled that there is going to be a feature film of Avatar and
that M. Night Shyamalan is writing, producing and directing it," co-creator
Mike DiMartino said in an interview. "Personally, I can't wait to see Appa
fly!" DiMartino referred to the bison that the lead character, a 12-year-old
boy named Aang, rides in the series. (The first season and the first part of
the second series have just been released on DVD.) " More...
IESB.net reports
that Shyamalan is working on his script for the first live action "Avatar" movie.
And this is why we have already lost the War On Terror.
From the article: "When he visited Hollywood to seal his "Avatar" deal, Shyamalan and his new CAA reps met with execs atop almost every studio. Each read an early draft of "The Happening," which at the time was titled "The Green Effect." The buzz around Hollywood was that no studio loved the draft enough to make a deal."
Greg Baldwin is listed as the voice actor for Iroh in the Avatar cartoon "School Time Shipping". Though most fans feel this is his debut, I am fairly certain we've heard brief instances of him as Iroh in "Tales of Ba Sing Se: Iroh's Tale" and "The Earth King".
He's listed in the end credits in previous Avatar episodes but is not credited with doing Iroh's voice specifically, probably because his role was so small, and he was doing it in tandom with Mako, that they felt they didn't need or didn't want to credit him.
