"The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale of Azula"
Written by Michael Teitelbaum
Based on original screenplays written for Avatar: The Last Airbender
Illustrated by Patrick Spaziante

Chapter 1 ("The Avatar State")
"And what of my beloved big brother, Zuko? He is a failure, total and complete. My father said so just recently when he assigned me this task. Of course I already knew: Zuko's been insufferable since we were children--a weak, whiny boy who never actually grew up. When things didn't go his way, he wouyld go crying to our mother--until one day she was no longer there to protect him."

Chapter 2 ("Return To Omashu")
"Now it's up to Mai. Will she agree with me blindly, putting aside any feelings she has for her brother, or will this be the first conflict in our new alliance?"

Chapter 3 ("The Chase")
"For a moment, Zuko and I teamed up against the Avatar, but I took advantage of our temporary alliance to once again attack Zuko. The strategic options presented in a three-way battle are quite intriguing. Still, I must remain aware to the movements of both of my opponants."

Chapter 4 ("The Drill")
"Iroh tried years back to invade the walled fortress, but failed miserable. He didn't take the Earthbenders' defenses and their resolve seriously enough, and it cost him dearly."

Chapter 5 ("Appa's Lost Days", "The Earth King", and "The Guru")
"I need time to think, to plan. We failed at Ba Sing Se, and I have no intention of returning to the Fire Nation with news of another failure. My father gave me far more leeway than he ever gave Zuko, but he is not a patient man."
